The February meeting of the SCGC featured Linda Zwart’s always beautiful presentation of the annual Garden Glimpses. Thank you , Linda, for this stunning presentation with included the gardener’s thoughts on their “Why” of gardening . About thirty members and friends were in attendance If you were unable to attend this meeting, you were missed.
The March 16th meeting will be Mary Jansch’s presentation of plants of the Pacific Northwest.
Kathy Ptacek and Candice Morgan reigned over the Dottie Quigley Scholarship Fund Raffle. Thank you! The offerings were varied and made the winners very happy plus $24 can be added to the fund.
Penny Holenstein presented the idea of coordinating the garden club’s garage sale with Green Township’s township wide yard /garage sale sale. To paraphrase Fuddy,” start collecting your ‘stuff’”.Thanks to Stevie, Fuddy and Kathy for the idea of the sale. Mark March 16th on your calendar, bring something for the Raffle if you want, and catch up with friends.
